Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop websites, web applications and web systems
- Maintain client websites
- Keep up to date with latest web technologies
- Conversant with at least 3 CMS technologies
- Graphic Design capabilities
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Should be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and interests
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript (and a library like jQuery).
- Adobe photoshop / Fireworks and UX design
- PHP and MySQL
- Ability to work with Joomla, WordPress etc
- SEO skills
- Highly Organized with attention to detail
- Is Internet savvy and understands the function of search engines
- Possesses strong business ethics, is reliable and dependable
- At least 1 – 2 years working experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science with equivalent experience required
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in professional web design
- Knowledge of SEO tool and implementation.
