Job description


Proposal Delivery Management:

Support deal teams to create Value Driven Proposal (VDP) shells and final versions, ensuring these proposals are aligned per VDP and Request for Proposals (RFP) requirements.

•Provide formatting to enable VDP and RFP required styles review and update for alignment of content to one structure displaying our IBM professional brand image.

•Provide graphics design for various types of requests presentation and packaging, Image creation and design and formatting.

•Create the proposal shell, ensuring client RFP specifications are met . Provide the standard proposal template to the deal team.

•Collect, consolidate and import content for an up to date work-in-progress document. Publish revisions and prepare the final version for client delivery (e.g. print, .pdf, etc.).

•Prepare the client proposal version for delivery (incorporate final changes from the team; scrub metadata from final draft; fix the formatting; run spell-check; check pagination, attachments, file size, and links; and prepare for print or delivery as a PDF.

Graphics and Multimedia Design

This person has also to apply the highest level of creativity, communications and information/graphic design skill to assist deal teams to produce clear visual and impactful proposals. He will serve as the key graphics designer on executive summaries and serve as overall “graphic artist”, working on both a visual and a narrative level, breaking content into visually accessible chunks to aid readability and consistency. He will work with Sales Reps, Technical Subject Matter Experts and Proposal Writers to build innovative proposal deliverables by designing graphical elements that summarizes and add to the solution descriptions in areas of Cloud, Security, Big Data, Business Analytics, and Mobility. Organizational and interpersonal skills, operating as a team player, and willingness to work under tight deadlines, are additional requirements.


Required

•Work proactively within Sales Transaction Support Teams. Coordinate Documentation Resources to support Bids; Lead Publishing Team

•Associate or University education, or design, illustration, multi-media work experience

•High proficiency in industry-standard graphic software tools including Adobe Creative Suite

•Creative/Multi-Media/Advertising/Journalism/Marketing/Media studies or profession related activities

•Good oral and written communication skills

•Ability to work well independently as well as in a team based environment with local, global, and remote team members.

•Proficient in design and documentation development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office, etc.

•Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.

•Competent in defining, planning and managing design deliverables.

•Familiarity with IT services business terminology (desired).

•Field of study: Information Design, Graphics Design, Multi-media, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing and Advertising.


Required



  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 1 year experience in Strong oral and written communication skills

  • At least 1 year experience in conveying messaging across many mediums (Word, Excel, Power Point, Infographics Adobe Illustrator, and social media tools)

  • At least 1 year experience in having Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • At least 1 year experience in Performing editing and proofreading and perform quality reviews for client deliverables

  • English: Fluent


Preferred



  • At least 2 years experience in Strong oral and written communication skills

  • At least 2 years experience in conveying messaging across many mediums (Word, Excel, Power Point, Infographics Adobe Illustrator, and social media tools)

  • At least 2 years experience in having Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task
