Our client in the Building and Construction Industry is seeking a motivated, results oriented and self driven individual to join its team.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will liaise with the Project Officer in determining costs of carrying out construction projects, site workers supervision, and site management.
Key Accountabilities
- Timely and accurate preparation of Bill of Quantities
- Overall Project cost analysis and tracking
- Work measurements and final accounts preparation
- Applications to client for payments
- Update BQ for variations
- Supervise site workers
- Inventory management, procurement assistance and stores management
- Health and Safety Management
Abilities and skills needed
- Diploma/Higher National Diploma in Building and Construction or Quantity survey or equivalent
- Advanced technical education in construction an advantage
- At least 3 years experience in quantity surveying in the construction industry
- Experience in the construction sector
- Able to work within strict timelines
- Excellent planning skills
- Analytical skills
