Location: Nairobi
Salary: Ksh 20,000 – 30,000 Gross Our client is an electrical engineering solution provider company specializing in the design, manufacturing and servicing of electrical switchboards, control panels, telecom shelters, switchgears etc.
They are also channel partners for ABB Low Voltage automation products.
They seek to hire an electrician with experience wiring control panels.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings to actual products
- Receiving orders from the Electrical Engineer
- Ensuring all orders are clear and complete with wiring/drawing details
- Mounting of parts and sub-assemblies on the panels by use of templates/or reading measurements
- Going to client sites to work on projects
- Point to point wiring of the control panels as per the provided drawings
- Carry out any modification in consultation with the Electrical Engineer
- Ensure that the products are of high quality
- Carry out basic fabrication work
- Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
- Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job
- To follow strictly the instruction given by electrical engineer
- Maintain safe and clean working condition by understanding the Safety policy
- Handle busbar, control wiring, stabilizer wiring etc
- Any other duties as requested
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/craft 3 in electrical engineering
- 2 to 4 years experience in control panel wiring
- Excellent Electrical switch gear knowledge
- Hardworking, talented, ambitious with passion to excel
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing skills
