  • Demonstrates deep personal accountability for great performance. Purpose of the Role: This is a key support role to the Finance Director. Partner Markets and Indian Ocean (PMIO) reports to Africa Regional Markets (ARM), and comprising of over twenty Distributor/Contract brewing markets in West and Central Africa, plus Indian Ocean countries. PMIO business unit covers the following countries:- Cote D’Ivoire, , Gabon, Togo, Benin, DRC, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, CAR, Mauritania, Sao Tome, Principe, Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Cape Verde, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Gambia, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Niger, Mali, Seychelles, La Reunion, Mauritius, Madagascar and Mayotte. The Partner Markets (West and Central Africa) is geared to be the growth engine for ARM .These are relatively complex markets operated through 3rd party customers. The focus is primarily on beer, with an enormous growth opportunity in premium imported spirits. Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the business performance agenda within PMIO, providing concise, quality management information on key business drivers. 2.Responsible for the timely and accurate production of a monthly BPM pack, R&O;, AOP and strategic plan packs which guarantee full integrity of market financials in compliance with the shareholders reporting standards for sub-markets and oversight over the delivery of similar reports for WACA, Seychelles and Reunion.

  • Continuously research and build understanding and knowledge of the PMIO business module from a commercial and financial perspective.


  • Develop a culture of data accuracy and integrity across all financial information. Reporting:




  • Manage performance across the units with a view to forecasting future performance accurately




  • Providing insightful performance review of key drivers behind net sales, A&P;, overheads, cash and any others exceptional items both at hub and individual markets level.




  • Consolidate PMIO Hub information into BPM pack and submit to the FD and GM for review.




  • Support BPM Team and the ARM Finance Team with insights and estimates for performance reviews/BPM calls.




  • Manage and report the PMIO Overheads to ensure complete and on budget of Spends on a monthly basis Planning:




  • Partner with various stakeholders (WACA sales and marketing, Amsterdam supply, DBS Budapest, Seychelles and Reunion Finance Teams etc) to drive the preparation of error free and timely Final Outlook, Stratplan and AOP numbers in line with the planning calendar.




  • Liaise with Market Managers and hub GMs and other stakeholders to forecast sales volumes and leverage that to prepare robust PMIO R&Os; on a monthly basis. * Qualifications and Experience:*




  • Business degree with accounting qualification




  • Minimum 5 years experience in Financial Reporting, Consolidation and Planning.




  • Strong relationship management skills




  • Experience working with a virtual team would be an added advantage




  • Financial & Management reporting (Local & international).




  • Group IFRS and Reporting Requirements/Instructions




  • Experience in risk management and controls




  • Strong appreciation for processes, policies & procedures




  • Excellent communication skills
