The main purpose of Solutions Consultant job is to support sales process of HDS products and services by providing deep technical expertise to HDS and channel partners’ sales force.
Particular support activities include:
Preparing and performing customer oriented presentations of HDS products and services
Delivering detailed descriptions of proposed solutions
Performing competitive analysis of HDS solutions within particular customer context
Providing training seminars for channel pre-sales personnel
Creating and adapting exact product specifications to be offered to customer
Creating and presenting high-level project descriptions outlining one or more HDS solutions
Preparing and localizing specific white-papers and briefs for HDS solutions
Coordinate all technical activities within customer related project (including POCs, try-and-buys, assessments, etc).
Solutions Consultant is also held responsible for technical correctness of submitted orders and approves them as a part of daily responsibilities.
Being a sales support function, Solutions Consultant will closely work with HDS and channel sales force, other pre-sales personnel, post-sales engineers and channel department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Degree or equivalent education work experience in IT/Technical field.Fluent English.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
2 years of experience in a storage or storage-related company (vendor, reseller or integrator).
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Storage technologies, SAN equipment, Storage systems knowledge (more than one vendor is a plus); formal certification is a plus.
Basic knowledge of IT technologies, infrastructure and services.
Experience in writing project documentations and/or white papers
