Location: Nairobi
Salary: Ksh 20,000 – 30,000 Gross Our client is an electrical engineering solution provider company specializing in the design, manufacturing and servicing of electrical switchboards, control panels, telecom shelters, switchgears etc.
They are also channel partners for ABB Low Voltage automation products. They seek to hire a steel fabricator with experience in busbar fitting.
- Receiving orders from the Mechanical Engineer
- Ensuring that the orders are clear and complete with drawings
- Mounting of parts and subassemblies on the panels by use of templates/or reading measurements.
- Welding steel parts (arc welding)
- Creating steel structures from drawings
- Carry out any modification in consultation with the Mechanical Engineer.
- Maintain safe and clean working condition by understanding the Safety policy.
- Follow strictly the instructions given by the mechanical engineer.
- High quality fabrications
- Work on site on projects
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/craft 3 in mechanical engineering
- 2 to 4 years experience especially in welding, fabricating steel structures
- Excellent Mechanical and fabricating skills
- Hardworking, talented, ambitious with passion to excel
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing skills
