Main Duty: The OM will be responsible for operating the Hotel profitably while ensuring quality services, guest satisfaction and operational professionalism Responsible For: -
- Ability to lead a cross-skilled team, and coordinate various operational activities across departments
- Should be focused, and able to understand and cast vision to his/her team members.
- The OM will be responsible for the profitability of the business
- The OM should be driven to exceed whatever expectations have been imposed upon them
- The OM shall also be responsible for managing and developing the Served Apartments/Hotel operating team.
- The OM should ensure that all service providers have valid and executed contracts accompanied by service level agreements
- The OM should ensure that the outsourced staff is trained to work in accordance with the Hotel’s standard operating procedure.
- The OM trains operations and Front office team in the laundry receiving and dispatching procedure
- Ensure that the Hotel’s gardens are maintained and are appealing at all times.
- Ensure that the hotel is well secured and the staff serves guests in a pleasant manner.
- Ensure that the restaurant is running effectively and efficiently to meet guest needs.
- Ensure that the team meets its objectives as per the balanced scorecard.
- In charge of performance appraisals and making recommendations to management on the team composition performance.
- Ensure that the hotel is getting value for all its purchases.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the Hotel’s assets both internally and externally and to ensure that the hotel’s assets are being used optimally.
- Expected to maintain constant contact with the house guests.
- Frequently perform benchmarking exercises and industry research and advice management on trends and how the Hotel should respond to changing market conditions.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
