U.S. Agency for International Development Job Vacancy : Administrative Officer

The Administrative Officer (AO) is responsible for the overall management of the USAID/Sudan office in Khartoum. Such management responsibilities include personnel, travel, security, and communications. In addition to managing the office, the AO is also responsible for liaising with the Embassy staff on a regular basis. The AO will serve as an official U.S. Government representative to various donor, United Nations, and NGO meetings relating to relief and development issues in general. The AO may be called upon to meet with various Government of Sudan (GOS) officials to discuss outstanding issues/concerns relating to the USAID program. Working under the broad supervision of USAID/Sudan Mission Director but exerting an important degree of independent judgment and initiative.
