Internal Business Partner (sales Support)

Our client would like to fill the position of an Internal Business Partner (Sales Support) who will report to the COO. Job Purpose/Summary The job holder enables exceptional business sales performance by providing sales support for the Client Partners and Marketing & Communication leadership for the whole organisation. Duties and Responsibilities Client Partner support Track Client Partner meeting follow up items with various stakeholders including Training and Finance departments. Record meeting notes and follow-up items on our CRM system. Build relationships with clients for follow-up work and reports submission. Coordinate travel & accommodation details for facilitators with clients for workshops away from Nairobi. May occasionally accompany Client Partners on client calls. Marketing Events Management Manage all events planning, execution and follow up. Manage client database. Determine distribution of marketing lists for unassigned customers. Coordinates and closely manages all sales campaigns. Drive event enrolments from the client database. Schedule post-event Face To Face meetings at time pre-call qualification. Marketing & Communication Develop a communication manual that will be the base for the company s policies and procedures. Constantly anticipate and keep in touch with the company s communication requirements based on best practice. Annually put together a plan that captures the vision and objectives for the communication department. Provide ideas that will improve and grow the communication function. Fully understand the company s business model and training offering to be able to deliver powerful and compelling customer support aids and presentations. Support business development through events, sponsorships, web presence, advertising, PR release that keep us at the top of mind of customers. Position the company as an authority in the training area. Ensure constant customer engagement through various tools such as newsletters, mailings and live events. At all times know our key customers and their requirements intimately via surveys and face to face inquiries Work with relevant agencies & suppliers to develop & sustain high quality work. Collect an online database that will have key potential customer contacts and details. Minimum Requirements A minimum of a degree in a business related field from a recognized institution 2 year experience in sales, administration, sales support and communication. Demonstrate organization and customer service/sales skills working with corporate clients in a B2B environment. Familiar working with a CRM system. Marketing and communication experience highly desirable. MS Office proficiency. Required skills and key competencies Ability to influence and work with client organizations at a senior level. The consulting ability to understand clients needs and articulate persuasively how our approach and our training and development solutions contribute to clients sustained, superior performance. A good understanding of corporate cultures, people performance and behavioral development would be advantageous. Professional attitude and appearance. Ability to influence and work with senior decision makers in major corporations with confidence to present at Senior Leadership Team level.
