Job Profile / Purpose: The Vendor Manager will be responsible for handling relationships with current suppliers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Short listing and prioritizing key suppliers.
- Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
- Attending trade fairs/events to source new products.
- Making monthly sales reports.
- Liaising with other teams (both international and local) within the organization to ensure good operations.
- Monitoring stock levels and planning ahead the company purchasing policy
- Having an accurate knowing of competition: who they are, what prices they have, what products they have.
- Finding new suppliers(you can try to source and sell every kind of products)
- Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Should have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
- A qualification in Purchasing and supplies
- Excellent computer skills
- Keen interest and knowledge of Electronics products
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and hungry
- Results driven
