Hotel Sales Executive Job in Mombasa Kenya

Client Introduction: Our client; a Hotel in Mombasa seeks to recruit the services of an experienced Sales Executive to be based in Mombasa North Coast. Role Profile

The successful candidate will lead the hotel management team by:




  • Drive new sales from current corporate clients and new customers,

  • Solicit for business from potential clients by phone, email and customer visits,

  • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provides customers with quotations as required,

  • Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers in person, via telephone calls and emails,

  • Drive sales performance and meet or exceed provided targets,

  • Provide feedback from customers to enhance service delivery,

  • Remains current on room rates and room availability,

  • Produces weekly sales pipelines and forecasts,

  • Represent the hotel at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations,

  • Develop ideas for marketing the hotel and its facilities to meet and exceed targets,

  • In liaison with General Manager and finance manager, negotiates the terms of an agreement and closes sales.

  • Excellent command of English & Kiswahili,

  • Good organizational and administration skills,

  • Oral and written communication skills.


Qualifications


  • Seasoned sale person with at least 2 years sales experience in a Hotel or Travel Agency;

  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Front Office Operations from recognized institution both locally and internationally would be an added advantage;

  • Proficient in MS Project Management & Microsoft office applications;
