Location: Nairobi
Salary: Ksh. 70,000 Our clients’ main business is bulk distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and accessories like Burners, Lanterns, stoves & Valves.
They seek to hire a Sales and Marketing Officer whose key responsibility is; effectively managing of Sales operations by implementing smart targets, journey plans and weekly sales reporting. Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish, Follow and develop a significant portfolio of clients in all geographical zones.
- Prepare quotations for clients, detect their needs and formulate satisfying strategies in coordination with the Management.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets as structured by the management
- Monitor and manage a full system of safety indoor and outdoor environments.
- Manage and monitor the delivery lines to ensure the top quality delivery at the right time in safety condition and suggesting corrective measures if necessary.
- Survey and study the market get to know risk factors and competition while searching for new clients and prospective ones.
- Produce a daily/weekly report to the Management.
- Maintain and visit the clients regularly and follow up the consumption of the client.
- Analyze financial results with the Management. Suggest and participate in implementing new strategies.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing clients.
- Prioritize effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives.
- Research & Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information
- Increasing business opportunities through penetration of new market.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing
- Additional professional qualifications in Sales & Marketing
- Must have 2 – 3 years experience in sales and marketing Management.
- Experience in working in and / Petroleum/ Oil industry preferred but not a must.
- Experience in developing and maintaining business growth
- Experience in e-commerce, Market research, and product launches
- Must be self driven and able to meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a “can do” attitude
- Result oriented, Problem analysis and problem-solving
- Persuasiveness, innovation and judgment
- Take responsibility for the direction, control and planning of an activity
- Works with minimal supervision in a pressured environment
- Relate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and co-operation
