Position: Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:



Product Testing

• Analyse, review and assess user requirements, specifications for testability and feasibility.


• Verify that products are built according to set standards and guidelines by comparing documents to actual code/database schemas.


• Create test conditions and scripts in the test management system.


• Prepare and/or acquire test data.


• Perform both functional and non-functional tests (performance, security testing) on developed systems.


• Assess usability of web and mobile user interfaces


• Automate tests.

Product Support

• Assist in assessing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and retesting of identified issues.

Reporting

• Escalation of reported issues

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year experience in software testing


• Experience working with SOAPUI and JMeter testing tools


• Experience working with web and mobile user interfaces


• Experience in customer engagement and issue resolution.


• Experience in system support, support processes, tools and reports.


• Experience in Jira


• Experience in PHP, JAVA, MySQL and Linux will be an added advantage
