· Carryout capacity planning reviews to optimize plant performance
· Review labour productivity
· Check, authorize and ensure dispatch of production reports on a regular basis.
· Implement SHE policies in the factory.
· Formulate action points and put into operation the Unilever SHE framework standards.
· Carryout training on SHE for all the unit employees and third parties.
· Build and maintain good ER/IR with all stakeholders.
· In consultation with HR department, plan and fulfill the training needs for all direct reports.
· Chair all scheduled committee meetings at the unit.
· Develop factory machinery maintenance plan and/schedule and ensure provision of sufficient resources for full implementation.
· Responsible for full implementation of unit engineering projects.
· Facilitate implementation of the Unilever Food quality and consumer safety framework standards.
· Responsible for unit payroll management.
· Responsible for internal controls in all process areas within the unit.
· Prepare and implement capital, revenue and supplementary budgets as required.
· Draw up contracts and ensure full achievement to the required quality standards.
· Chair all scheduled committee meetings at the unit.
Qualifications
· Graduate in Food Science, Production Technology, Mechanical/Electrical/Agricultural/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/Biochemistry or any other related field.
· Minimum 6 years experience in a related field.
