Salary Range: KShs 18,000 – 21,000
Job Description:
- The role of the mixologist is to serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar customers
- He/she may serve beer and wine, make classic drinks or create new recipes for cocktails.
- Will be responsible for ensuring that the bar runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure that the bar is stocked with beer, garnishes, drink mixes & ice while keeping it neat and clean
- Order bar supplies from outside vendors
- Assist in setting up the bar before it opens and perform closing procedures at the end of business hours.
- Significant relevant experience in mixology/ working as a bartender
- Ability to create innovative drinks & cocktails that explore the boundaries of flavor
- The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, integrity & high standards of hospitality.
- Ability to stand behind bars for long periods and repeatedly lift materials weighing anywhere from 4.5 kgs-15 kgs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to withstand pressure
