Main Responsibilities
Updates managers by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding monthly sales data and progress reports. Preparing and analyzing sales reports Resolves order problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers. Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions. Promote and sell products to new and existing customers indirectly Provides sales vs. projection results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports. Forwards samples by entering request; arranging shipment; notifying customer. Maintains customer database by inputting customer profile and updates;ensuring all customer information is correct; preparing and distributing quarterly reports. Complete quarterly sales meeting data, templates, and presentations Attend trade shows/conferences to promote products Handle customer/product complaints, and other inquiries in following with the BD internal requirements. Organize events, conferences and other meetings – prepare internal/external documents to facilitate meetings Prepare tender requests and ensure submission of the same; follow up tender results and update the TMS accordingly.
Education and qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Science; Microbiology or Laboratory Technology.
Experience in laboratory consumables sales with a good understanding of the tender process
Professional skills and experience
Preferably a person with 2 or more year’s proven success in Sales/ business support or customer service

• Has a good general understanding of the products and their applications in order to respond immediately to day to day customer enquiries. • Is able to develop and maintain the necessary internal contact network to access product information for customer enquiries of a highly technical nature. • Has a basic understanding of sales & business concepts and theory.

• Have very good analytical skills.
• Is very well organized and consistently reliable.
• Is results oriented
• Team player • Excellent spoken and written English, French would be preferable but not essential. • Has the personal presence and confidence to meet customers face to face. • Demonstrates the potential to develop further in sales and/or marketing.
