Job Description:-
Our client is a largest producer of Salt in East Africa
We are looking for General Manager to head the plant
Accountable for Salt operations, planning, budgeting and profitability
Ensure Quality, coordinate with Production, Maintenance dept
Ensure smooth running of operations, cost control
Project Management
Safety Management
Man Power Management
Developing marketing strategies for clients to build consumer preference and drive volumes through
activations and events.
Putting in place systems and processes for the smooth functioning of the organization.
Proactively approaching clients for business with innovative solutions
Responsible for strategy planning, sales forecasting & budgeting, sales planning, implementation of
promotional schemes, training and optimization of sales force.
Coordinating with Sales Team, Logistics & Production departments & Commercials.
Supervise other managers and Staff
Coordinate business operations
Develop business strategies and goals
Work directly with clients
Regulatory Compliance
Develop and oversee operations budget
Set department / division goals based on the company’s plans
Follow and enforce company policies and procedures consistently
Oversee all the HR functions
Develop new business opportunities
Write reports on business operations for the executive staff
Represent company in relevant professional organizations
Additional duties as assigned or deemed necessary for effective business operations
Key Skills:
Must have exposure working with Salt Industry
Good analytical ability and capability to enhance relationship building
Goal oriented, self motivated and an aptitude for problem solving
Strong communication skills
Decision making ability
