Summary of Job: World class execution of different Commodity Contract Terms from origin to destination, through direct contact with Geneva & Origination offices to monitor Shipments & documents updates.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct contact with CIF and FOB Sellers;
- Following up on Vessels status at LoadPort till quantities delivered to customers at destination;
- Following up on correct issuance of required Documentation for, Port Agents, Port Authorities, and the Ministry of Agriculture;
- In contact with other Business Functions, such as Accounting, Traders and Logistics Teams;
- Preparing timely reports of Vessels’ and Payments Status;
- Responsible for Issuance of shipping Documents for Export Business;
- In contact with 3rd party Service Providers;
- Updating Several Data base Systems and shared spread sheets;
- Risk management.
Qualifications and Person Specifications:
- Bachelor Degree in a business related field;
- Training in import/export business, shipping, Gafta or Fosfa information will be a plus;
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in export/import operations;
- Computer literate especially with Microsoft Office applications;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Good customer service and time management skills;
- High attention to details and ability to multi task;
- Proven problem solving skills as well as being an effective team Player.
