Plan International Inc. Kenya is seeking to recruit for the following positions:
Deputy Country Director
The post holder will report to Country Director.
The Deputy Country Director (DCD) will have authority and oversight over the Kenya Country Programme. He/she will coordinate all programme-focused strategic planning, decision-making and staff management. The DCD will serve as key liaison with Donors, the Government of Kenya, implementing partners and other stakeholders.
Primary responsibilities include providing overall leadership, management and general technical direction of the country programme, assuring an integrated vision among different components and actors and ensuring programme performance, achievement of programme requirements and adherence to donor regulations.
The DCD will ensure efficient management of financial resources, including the review and approval of programme budgets and monitoring expenditures. The DCD will supervise programme monitoring, evaluation, and reporting and ensure quality control and timeliness of all deliverables as required by the grant and donors.
The DCD will deputise the Country Director in her/his absence.
