Our client is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager , who will be reporting directly to the CEO. Purpose: Plan and implement sales and marketing activities in order to meet company targets for strategy, customer retention, sales growth and profitability.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generating revenue for the company through acquiring clients
- Understanding the business requirements of the client and suggest to them a suitable service solution
- Establishing, managing and supporting existing client base while generating additional new business
- Developing and implementing key and target account plans for the assigned markets
- Researching and evaluating market trends
- Preparing financial projections and competitive analysis
- Assisting in deal analysis
- Managing client and internal communications
- Developing strategic plans
- Performing complex business problem solving in a highly unstructured environment
- Developing and executing tactical plans by being able to translate broad strategic objectives into specific tactical plans.
- Employing effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business
- Drafting terms and conditions for business development contracts and negotiating contracts with third parties
- Structuring templates for establishing simple business development relationships with large numbers of partners and then executing the task of establishing these relationships
- Bidding for projects
- Making presentations (showcasing our technology expertise / competencies in providing solutions) to the prospective clients
- Identifying business needs, suggesting custom solutions and measuring ROI to solve client’s business problems
- Monitoring market intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc.
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing or any relevant field
- 3+ years of selling experience, preferably in the service industry
- Polished, dynamic personality with high energy and exceptional self-motivation
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Proven track record of converting sales
