The Position: Reporting to the Head of Operations, the job holder will be responsible for the oversight of Physical security and safety of KCB Bank South Sudan Premises (Branches, Business Offices, Record Archives), employees (Premises health and safety), Assets (Building, Cash, Cash-in-transit, Fixtures & Furniture, Business Equipment Vehicles, Computers, Machinery) and customer safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of Group security policy, enforcement of standards, controls, processes and regulatory determined procedures for Physical Security and Safety.
- Develop and execute the annual Departmental Plan and budget within approved limits.
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity, Risk, and Compliance Management & Regulatory Controls for Business Requirements regarding Security and Safety.
- Relationship Management and engagement of Key Stakeholders: Head of Operations, Security Service Providers (Guarding, Electronic Security) Law Enforcement Agencies (Police, Intelligence), Branch Managers, Statutory bodies
- Standing Member of the Health and Safety Committee, Business Continuity Management Committee (HR, Facilities)
- Drive Security Programs/Initiatives during the business cycle.
- Incident Management and Reporting of Physical and Safety matters (e.g. Emergency Responses, Crisis Management, Investigations, Crime Scene Management).
- Oversight Management of Electronic Security Systems (Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Metal Detectors, Turnstiles).
- Provide Staff and Business Communication on Physical and Safety Business matters.
- Prepare and present Security Briefing, Analysis and Reports to EXCO
The Person
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Security related from an institution recognized by Commission for University Education.
- Master’s degree in Security Management/Strategic Management will be an added advantage.
- The successful candidate must have completed military, police service training
- A minimum of 10 years work experience in the following areas;
- 5 years’ experience in Senior Law
- Security management in Banking /Corporate environment
- At least 3 years’ experience in conducting investigations
- Experience in Health and Safety is essential.
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work long hours and travel within South Sudan at short notice.
- Understanding of Juba Arabic will be an added advantage
