Job Description: Head of Sales
Your tasks will be to take responsibility and drive all activities related to Sales and Revenue growth, including:
- Manage the whole sales force in order to maximize sales revenues and meet the business objectives.
- Develop and implement plans to ensure that revenue growth is attained.
- Assist the sales agents in establishing personal contact and rapport with top decision makers.
- Formulate all sales policies, strategies and procedures.
- Review and report on sales progress against targets set.
- Hold regular meetings with sales staff
- Do you have sales experience in retail markets, distribution systems in East Africa & across the continent?
- Are you driven, resourceful, creative & charismatic?
- Do you have experience selling using ALL or at least 2 of the following channels; modern supermarket chains, independent retailers, HORECA, and the vast informal markets of lower-income high-density urban settlements and rural areas?
- Can you grow revenue 5x in a harsh world where the status quo reigns?
- Are you willing to sell something that is making a difference?
- Have you lead a team of sales people?
