Pro-actively advice, prepare, promote and ensure compliance of the company HES Management System & vehicle tracking, Procedures and Standards consistent with best practice
Understand and support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of activities
In liaison with the HSE Manager, develop and manage Company HSE standards, programs and goals.
Train and mentor and periodically evaluate the Logistics, HSE personnel and drivers on HSE standards, programs and goals.
Ensure the fleet and company facility complies with current Company and statutory Industry HSE standards and guidelines and advice on future requirements ensuring proactive planning.
Proactively Identify, investigate, and analyze HSE operational improvement and as appropriate, based on findings make proposal for
HSE operational changes (policies, procedures, processes).
Supervises monitor and report on key HSE metrics.
Keep upto date on applicable statutory requirements, advise and ensure company compliance.
Participated fully in periodic scheduled / unscheduled audits and perform periodic inventory checks as required and report and ensure corrective action on any anomalies.
Qualifications:
- An understanding of Transportation of petroleum products (Compulsory)
- Accredited diploma in Safety, Engineering, or related technical
- 3-5 years of HSE related experience in the petroleum industry
