IT Company Business Development Executives Jobs in Nairobi, Kenya

We are looking to recruit Business Development Executives for our client, an IT Company providing enterprise solutions within the East African region. Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Position Overview: The role is responsible for meeting sales targets within designated sectors and territories resulting in increased market share and visibility of the brand in the market.


Responsibilities




  • Develop a base for long-term sources of clients

  • Prospect and generate sales

  • Actively follow up new leads and referrals

  • Identify and leverage external partners, i.e. vendors, to deliver sales

  • Follow through the sales process to ensure lead times are adhered to

  • Timely preparation of presentations, proposals, quotations and accurate sales reports

  • Regularly update customers on sales order progress, and respond and resolve customer queries in a timely manner

  • Gather market information to assist in planning and decision making

  • Establish new business opportunities and expand/enhance existing ones


Requirements


  • Minimum of a Diploma in a business related field preferably in Sales, Marketing OR Diploma in IT related field with Sales experience

  • At least 3 years working experience in the IT field or handling similar products

  • Proficiency in ICT

  • Demonstrable achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of customers and customer interface

  • Ability to interact with clients at different levels, and establish & maintain relationships

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

  • Excellent planning and organization skills

  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills


Remuneration



An attractive salary package (basic retainer and commission), in addition to benefits is on offer dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
