Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

Our client, an international Engineering and Construction Industry offering a wide range of engineering, construction and maintenance services to some of the world’s most demanding job sites, is seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer.
The ideal candidate should have good Solid experience of working in an austere environment or previous experience with Oil & Gas will be an added advantage.
Purpose of the Job: Manage all quality control & assurance activities at site, responsible for the implementation of quality control procedures and plans for providing the more efficient onsite construction work.
He /She shall report to relevant area Construction Coordinator on a day-day basis and functionally to the QA Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Reviews and approve inspections, test plans and quality control plans from contractors.
- Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems and issues with quality assurance and control for site construction.
- Plans and coordinates QA/QC activities, making certain of quality control of the work in accordance to contract requirements.
- Supervise the activities of the quality service providers and inspectors to ensure diligent performance.
- Overall control, supervision and implementation of contract quality and technical requirements.
- Resolution of quality problems, preparation and maintenance of contract quality records.
Qualifications and Competences
- Degree in Business or Logistics, 3-5 years of experience.
- Must be a registered Engineer with a history of QA/QC role.
- Good Leadership Skills.
- Good verbal and written English skills.
- Must be familiar with relevant QA/QC testing processes and relevant construction codes.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Computer Skills (CAD Design Skills, MS Office Experience & Experience in working with Engineering Design Software is deemed an advantage).
