Drive the EB agenda and performance across all African markets (1) Design customized EB corporate value propositions, sales process and service models working in conjunction with Segments, products and credit policy and ops teams. (2) Create opportunities to maximize penetration into the corporate by creating specific offers such as ATM deployment, on-site sales and service desks continuously improve corporate value proposition in line with client expectations and competition. (3) Review and monitor existing corporate offers for effectiveness against set penetration targets, monitor changes and renewals. (4) Work with Africa country teams on preparation and participation in country specific offers. | |
Key Roles & Responsibilities | |
The EB head will be responsible for: • Right targeting in line with group and country strategy, leveraging the client continuum. • Ensuring a competitive CVP at corporate and customer level working with segment and product teams. • Effective portfolio management at a corporate and customer level. • Ensuring a robust and effective organization structure in line with the TOM, adhering to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures of the bank. • Deliver efficient and effective customer engagement, ensuring quality service. • Drive targeting the right customers guided by 100:70:70 rule/ Economic model. • Work with country CI/TB/CC teams as part of an operating rhythm, increase EB penetration to SCB clients. • Manage and maintain the development of strong and differentiated product propositions working with RBP and wealth. • Ensure correct identification and tagging of the EB portfolio at various level, EB, ER-EE, CI/CC & R.M mapping. • Manage the EB portfolio in terms of key parameters. • Asset & AUM balance, total footings growth. • Revenue growth. • Payroll active ratio and funding ratio, overall product level/ bundle activation. • Asset penetration and cross sell. • Tail Management. • Arrive at specific portfolio campaigns at R.M level, Corporate category/ key corporate level, also leverage other channels like tele- sales for execution of portfolio campaigns. • Ensure the implementation of appropriate systems and operational procedures to support sales, track MIS and profitability. • Responsible for ensuring compliance, with respect to corporate listing, MCS for payment methods, customized pricing for corporate. • Work with Product, Marketing, Sales academy to ensure EB teams have the right sales kit, presentation and communication tools and have completed required training. • Work with Marketing, Product and Digital teams and guide the RM team ensuring correct execution of campaigns/ events, seminars worksite desks etc. • Drive the system towards service quality standards in an efficient operation where risks are well controlled. • Ensure compliance to regulations and group New business risk and management. | |
Qualifications & Skills | |
• Ability in business planning relating to sales, distribution, portfolio management and service. • Strong product and process knowledge of assets & liability products. • Strong analytical skills and core banking/ asset products system knowledge. • Strong inter-personal skills and ability to influence other functions. • Good people and multifunctional team management skills. • Ability to manage and implement change initiatives. |
