Job Title: Warehouse / Stores Manager

Job Description


  • Control of inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling data storage system and ensuring that limits set are maintained for both Imports and local purchase items, at all times.

  • Interaction and negotiation with local suppliers for purchase of materials.

  • Regular preparation of cost in respect of equipment and materials supplied to projects.

  • Communicating with external and local suppliers on equipment for repair under warranty and accordingly despatch the items with RMA, for replacement.

  • Ensure that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.

  • Provide regular Stock Status Reports on imported items.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Safeguarding Warehouse operations and establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

  • Complies with material handling and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirement; advising management on needed actions.

  • Complete Warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results and ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Team player to achieve desired results.


Requirements


  • Good command in English – both written & verbal.

  • Technical knowledge and awareness of IT products.

  • Minimum five years of experience in a reputed Organization, managing stock and inventory control on a software platform.

  • Education – Bsc. in Procurement or Diploma in Supplies & Management, from a recognized institution.

  • Age limit – Between 35 to 45 years.
