The incumbent would be in charge of all the farms operations.ie;
- Making farm budgets, managing the farms finances, planning production and monitoring the farm’s progress against achievement of production and profitability targets;
- Managing the farm infrastructure and maintaining the farm assets;
- Planning work activities for Senior Crops Manager, Workshop Manager and Livestock Manager; monitoring and evaluation of progress and performance.
- To continuously improve quality and quantity of production.
- Apply best-practice health, safety and environmental standards across the farm estate;
- Provide guidance in the purchase of required farm supplies and inputs.
- To maintain and monitor the quality of yield;
- To understand the implications of weather patterns and make contingency plans to ensure seamless production;
- Ensuring that farm activities comply with government regulations;
- Ensure the farm is free from external aggression.
