Our Client is an NGO currently recruiting a Product Designer for one of its Social Enterprise. Job Role
- Research on the current market trends relating to relevant products
- Creative Design by hand or using Computer software
- Standardize production process by ensuring stringent production processes (TQM)
- Liaising closely with buyers / customers to determine desired product specifications
- Train the production team on new selected designs
- Determine availability & suitability of materials to be used in production
- Regular visiting of the production areas to evaluate the feasibility of production
- Presentation of new designs to management& clients for approval & adoption
- Development of design templates
Requirements
- Must be artistically creative
- 2-3 years experience in product design
- Excellent communication (written and Oral) skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Degree in product design (manufacturing setting)
- Must be familiar with Computer Aided drafting & design
- Should have the ability to collaborate ideas with team members
