Nokia Networks Job Vacancy : Senior Solutions Consultant, CO AMEA Delivery NPO

The purpose of the role is to lead and grow the NPO business at Nokia Networks with existing and green field clients in line with Regional and Global Priorities. To achieve and maintain the highest possible level of customer satisfaction, and to lead the customer toward their overall strategic goals with innovative network design, tuning and optimization service offerings. This also means assuring that the technical service solution is in line with the overall strategy for the customer and Nokia Networks’s own strategy.


Main Responsibility Area


The NPO Senior Solution Consultant (SC) shall have responsibility for defining innovative technical service solution offerings across the GSM, WCDMA & LTE technologies using the existing NPO portfolio and customer specific solutions. SC will focus on generating Services-led / Consulting-led NPO sales. Engagement with customers on Network Evolution strategy, improving end user experience, spectrum reframing and innovative design solutions to meet coverage and capacity requirements will be a key part of the job. He/she will specifically have deep knowledge about the NPO portfolio, competitor positioning, market development and will be able to use this to create service offerings. In addition, SC will have a grasp on network features & functionality and product roadmaps and the ability to work toward higher management layers within customer.


Position Description


Customer Projects:

• Maintain and develop understanding and insight of customer’s business and markets.

• Follow proactively the trends/needs in own area and turn them to new business opportunities for the customer and for NSN.

Pre-sales


•Identify new business opportunities for the existing or new customers, in alignment with the regional teams

•Make presentations on the service solutions internally and for customers

•Bring new ideas on the table on service solutions offerings to meet strategic needs of customers

•Work with key counterparts to define NPO growth strategy for a single or group of customers, by defining focus portfolio offerings or technology push


Sales/negotiation


In the sales/negotiation phase the SC shall support the Customer Team on developing technical service proposals for NPO. He/she shall be responsible to assure that the solution is in line with the overall strategy for the customer and is aligned to NPO global strategy.


Key Success Criteria


•NPO Sales Funnel Growth overall for the assigned Customer or Group of Customers

•Increase of Market share for Service Led / Consulting Led NPO services


Position Requirements


•Good knowledge at Mobile system topology and system parameters of at least one of the main technologies (GSM/GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA,LTE etc.).

•Strong knowledge of NPO portfolios, especially Optimization, Performance Assurance, QoS and End user services

•10+ years experience in telecommunications, out of which at-least 5 years in sales / pre-sales roles and proven capability to sell services led NPO portfolio

•Be creative, innovative and proactive to the strategic needs of the customer. Strong personal drive, self-motivated with good leadership, negotiation, communications and interpersonal skills

•Have a thorough understanding of the sales process

•Have very good knowledge of the business situation and the relation between the technical solution and the price and implications on the pricing

•Be able to digest and present and discuss various technical topics regarding existing service solutions and coming solutions

•Ability to develop goodwill and professional respect with customers by demonstrating a thorough understanding of customer requirements, translating these into the context and service solutions.

•Fluent in both verbal and written English. Additional Regional language will be a bonus

•University degree in Telecommunication, Electrical / Electronic or computer Engineering.
