Sales Executives (Logistics Industry) Jobs in Kenya

Our client is a market Leader in the field of Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance Services. Their services include Air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, land transport and consolidations. They seek to hire Sales Executives who are smart and enthusiastic about sales and logistics industry

Job Purpose: Open new markets for the company through sourcing for leads, organizing meetings with potential clients and managing relationships with client.




Graduates with 0 – 1 years of experience are also encouraged to apply Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.

  • Contributing and generating revenue for the department.

  • Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads (at least 10 meetings in a month) set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.

  • Maintain records of customer details / sales visits in the system

  • Regularly visit existing accounts validating service levels and develop new revenue streams.

  • Negotiate with the clients as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.

  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.

  • Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations, warehousing, freight, and transportation and Documentation departments on the execution of service delivery

  • Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other sales managers.

  • Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.

  • Follow up with clients for outstanding payments
