Our client, an infrastructure construction company in Nairobi is looking to recruit a highly qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Site Engineer for construction of an Overhead Power Transmission Line.
Requirements:
- Diploma or HND / BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Post graduate qualifications in Project Management shall be added advantage
- Possess a minimum 7 years post-graduate experience in civil engineering projects.
- Experience in the energy sector in construction of high voltage lines (132KV, 220KV or 400KV) would be an added advantage.
- Good working knowledge of computer based construction management and contract administration software like MS Projects and MS Office proficiency
- Sound financial planning and cost control abilities
- Technical competence to advice on all engineering / project matters
- Good oral and written communication skills including ability to effectively undertake site meetings and represent the company in client meetings
