Technical Sales Consultant – Maputo, Mozambique Our client, a key supplier of Specialised Construction Products to various industries is looking to fill the position of a Technical Sales Consultant.
He/she MUST have an entrepreneurial spirit to develop and service the allocated territory and existent customer portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
- Development of the business of the company in the identified territories.
- Develop and service the allocated territory and customer portfolio by example to achieve territory budget targets and growth expectations.
- Implement the sales strategies for the territory and sales channels/segments as agreed with the regional sales manager.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and identify new needs and wants in the marketplace.
- Ensure company’s pricing strategy is followed and profitability targets met.
- The compilation and submission of monthly/quarterly sales reports and volume forecasts and advice the regional sales manager of changing market conditions.
- The regular reporting of marketing information encompassing inter-alia, customers, competitors, economic and credit information.
- Direct selling to identify key accounts to ensure growth and targets are met.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing.
- Civil and structural engineers with sales background will have an added advantage.
- Concrete mix design experience preferred.
- Professional selling & negotiating skills.
- Must have selling experience in construction environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 405,000 – 467,000/= (Approx. 4,500 – 5,500 USD) depending on experience
