Key Roles & Responsibilities


Leads Management

• Perpetuate a Customer-centric data-driven, decision making culture. Champion and promote analytics solutions, leveraging both internal and external customer information to optimize risk-reward trade-offs in targeting campaigns aligned to customer needs based financial solutions.

• Drive a continuous improvement culture and roadmap aligned to the Retail Clients Global Customer Analytics strategy in pursuit of achieving world-class analytics capabilities. This is to enable Analytics to be dynamically driven, produce actionable business insights and continuously generate sales leads for business revenue growth opportunities.

• Provide best-in-class speed to market analytical solutions to Segment Teams in the Campaign Management process. Develop and implement world class customer scoring techniques; propensity modelling, campaign targeting analytics and other methodologies based on previous industry experiences.

• Identify and leverage internal and external data to significantly improve the volume of new to Bank customers.

• Continuously apply customer centric champion-challenge, test and learn techniques to analytics processes & share best practices across the global analytics community.

• Develop effective acquiring approaches for the segment leading to NTB affluent clients and co-ordinate consistent execution across markets.

• Develop effective approaches to ensure successful activation of new to bank clients.

• Execute optimization, cross-sell, up-sell and retention programs for this segment.
Capacity Optimization

• Liaise with client acquisition and client relationship teams to plan and execute effective channel utilization across Africa.

• Plan and agree Channel capacity and productivity with client acquisition, Client relationships and Segments.

Heads across

Demonstrate Leadership and Collaboration;

• Collaborate within the Analytics team structure to deliver on assigned tasks .

• Provide analytical hands on guidance and training to team members where needed.

• Drive frictionless change behaviours within the leads management ecosystem.

• Establish strong and collaborative working relationships across functions, markets in Africa and Group.

• Be seen as a strong and reliable member of Africa Analytics team.


Compliance and Control

Ensure appropriate operational procedures are in place in compliance with the Bank’s strategy, policies and standards.




Qualifications & Skills


Qualifications & Skills

• Degree with minimum 2 years of Retail Banking experience.

• Thought leadership in leads management with an insightful appreciation across the entire range of Retail

Clients’ products and services.

• Deep understanding of client needs/transaction behaviour and its drivers at different life stages.

• In depth understanding of Segments & Distribution channels, e.g., Branches, Remote channels.

• In depth understanding of key business drivers with sound understanding of legal, political and economic

Situation/framework.

• Strong strategic and analytical acumen coupled with strong execution capability.
