Our Client is a manufacturer if Automobile accessories currently recruiting Field Sales Managers to be based in major towns in Kenya. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
- Driving a solution set across development teams primarily Business Development, Consulting and Product teams through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
- Working with the research part of the business to figure out new products or services
- Doing studies of the company’s competitors to find out their weaknesses
- Working with the sales people and helping them to have what they need to increase sales, such as visual aids and training
- Supply the sales teams with the most current research and marketing information
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Sales Marketing
- 3+ years experience as a Supervisor/Manager
- Experience in the automobile indusry would be an added advantage.
- This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Must be willing to travel
