Job Title: Sales Person – Restocking / Refilling
Our Client, one of the largest duty-free retailing group ;with strategic presence at all leading entry and exit points in the world, including airports, seaport, downtown, border towns and popular tourist destinations would like to hire Sales Persons for its Kenyan operations. Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Welcome clients and respond to their expectations/serve them: reply to their questions, show them where products are located.
- Acquire knowledge about the products sold in order to give quality/relevant advice and to close the sale.
- Ensure excellent state of the shop (order, merchandising, cleaning)
- Cashier/tills operations.
Logistics (restocking / refilling)
- Take delivery of / control the goods on the docks of the warehouse (quantities, quality, and guarantees).
- Unpacking of goods and restocking in the warehouse.
- Continuously refilling shelves in the shop, taking into consideration strict shelf live management policies (FIFO, expiry dates).
- Goods/shelves management: labeling, prices display, anti-theft systems.
- Computerized stock management (including periodic inventory management).
- Daily maintenance of the stock and equipment used.
- Cleaning of the shop and the warehouse.
Key Qualifications
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
- Service oriented, sales minded, willing to sell.
- Dynamic, flexible and social.
- Clean look, accurate and always on time.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Retail/sales experience, ideally with international end-customers.
- Ability to carry small amount of goods with suitable machines (pallet truck) is an asset.
- Ability to work with basic IT software (PC, SAP).
