Our client in Interior Designs is seeking to recruit a Human Resource cum Customer Service Manager to plan, direct, organizes, and evaluates the activities of an assigned division within the organization. Essential Functions:
- Plans, directs, organizes, and evaluates the overall activities of a division of the Department of Human Resources.
- Directs, organizes, and coordinates multi-disciplinary professional and/or non-professional staff in carrying out a variety of Department programs that involve oversight of financial, budgetary, and related administrative functions.
- Formulates and administers policy and procedures in a wide variety of areas consistent with sound management techniques and general policies.
- Reviews programs and activities for risk, progress, and implementation in accordance with laws, regulations and guidelines.
- Develops goals, objectives, plans, programs and monitors progress for the assigned human resources division, in accordance with the organizational goals.
- Identifies, addresses, and resolves complaints, issues, or problems that occur or may potentially occur pertaining to the activities of the organization.
- Reviews information and statistical data pertaining to assigned human resources division, identifies trends, and presents findings and makes recommendations to and/or advises executive management.
- Researches and recommends new technologies that improve business practices for the assigned human resources division to executive managers.
- Directs the completion of special studies or projects pertaining to centralized human resources activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in HR/Sociology (Masters is added advantage)
- Member of IHRM
- 5+ years experience with a busy firm
- Well versed with labor laws
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;
- Administration and supervision, including techniques of multi-disciplinary task management
- Research practices applicable to data collection and analysis
- Federal, state, and county laws, policies, local ordinances, codes and regulations
- Theories, principles, practices, and current issues of human resources management
- Policy, procedure, and program development and implementation as these relate to centralized human resources activities and transactions
- Principles of supervision and training
- Principles, practices, and methods of budget administration and management
- Current technology and trends in the profession
