At the moment we’re looking for a Laundry
Coordinator to join our friendly and professional team at InterContinental Nairobi.
Under the direction of the Head of Laundry you will be responsible for assisting in overseeing and directing the day to day operation of the Laundry Department and maintains the overall efficiency.Coordinate with Housekeeping departments to ensure that there is adequate supply of clean linen,assist in developing Standards of Operating Procedures.E nsure that all items are laundered and dry cleaned within the hotel’s laundry are finished to the highest standard achievable and returned to the guests or staff in immaculate condition.
Qualifications:
Ideally, you’ll have a minimum four years demonstrate experience in a supervisory role in a five star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging team members within and outside the department.Strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
