Position Responsibilities
Roles will vary depending on the client and project; however consultants can typically be expected to contribute to:
- Delivery of consultancy services e.g. process analysis, software installation, implementation, training, support) to client base;
- Project participation
- Coordinating assigned project activities and deliverables with clients, SunGard business group representatives and project team members, Direct reporting Manager as required;
- Work closely with direct reporting Manager to deliver on SunGard strategy and objectives;
- identifying opportunities where additional services beyond the core implementation tasks may be offered, and work closely with your line management to pursue the opportunity;
- Build and maintain client relationships customers with focus on product retention and penetration.
- Ensure consistent delivery of consultancy
Successful applicants will have a strong academic profile, will be able to demonstrate strong career progression in past roles and be able to demonstrate strong experience in some or all of the following:
Position Requirements
Essential Skills
- Tertiary Degree in the field of Finance/Accounting and technology
- 3 Years Financial Services experience (Investment Banking, Institutional Asset Management or Insurance) required.
- Professional services software consulting experience, with good understanding of reconciliation and exception management practices
- Software project implementation experience
- Software product training experience
- Crystal Reports development or other Business Intelligence (BI) experience
- Business analysis and project management experience
- Advanced Microsoft SQL server 2008/2012 administration/maintenance experience
- Microsoft SQL server 2008, 2012 SSIS experience
- Windows 2008, 2012 x64 server install and configuration experience
- Implementation and configuration of web based solutions required
- Implementation and configuration experience of web based solutions
- Windows Active directory, IIS, COM+, Windows Services experience
- Good understanding of Windows Active directory, IIS, COM+, Windows Services required
Desirable Skills
- ITIL Certified
- Previous configuration and usage experience of SunGard Reconciliation product
