Vacancy: Helpdesk Support Engineer Location:
Nairobi (Industrial Area) Company: Kencall – Call Centre / BPO
Requirements
- Excellent telephone skills and neutral accent
- Excellent written communication skills & high level of comprehension
- Must have an understanding of POP3 / SMTP / FTP / HTTP Protocols
- Have an understanding of DNS & Domain name registration, internet and how it functions
- Have an understanding of WIFI connectivity with phones, tablets, PCs, MACs and other devices
- Must have knowledge of windows & applications commonly used on home computers
- Must have knowledge of Apple MAC computers and applications, mobile devices (phones & tablets) email & wifi setup
- Knowledge of VOIP & how it functions
- Ability to learn about new communication technologies as required
- Up-to-date technical knowledge, good analytical & problem solving skills
- Must keep good accurate records and have excellent time management skills
- Posses a degree in related field
- At least one year experience working as a Helpdesk Support Engineer
