A a fast growing organization in the paper industry is seeking to Recruit a focused, self-driven professional of high integrity.

Job Title: Quality Coordinator

Reporting: Top Management

Job Summary: The person will be responsible for monitoring and improving the quality of manufactured products produced by the Company and engage with the Top Management to develop and implement quality management systems that ensures compliance and continuous improvement.



Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Plan and prepare quality inspection plan of raw materials, in-process and finished products.

  • Monitor new and changed products and production methods with regard to quality.

  • Ensure that inspection and test equipment is checked and calibrated.

  • To plan and carry out training programmers for concerned personnel in the field of inspection.

  • Develop and improve a quality system and quality plans that are appropriate in the Company’s product range giving due consideration to customer requirements.

  • Develop educational materials for inspection staff.

  • Develop performance improvement targets for quality, service, and efficiency.

  • To regularly inform the top management on issues related to quality.

  • Perform quality audits and analyse data relating to quality with a view to initiating measures relating to this and following up the effect of these measures.

  • Set and document workflow/ procedures for all departments.

  • Assist with ISO internal audits including scheduling and coordinating internal audits and annual audits as required.

  • Provide ISO System training at all levels of the Company.

  • Assure compliance with industry standards, regulatory, and safety requirements.

  • Monitor, support, and continually improve the QMS procedures and documentation.

  • Investigating and solving customers’ problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants, sales executives or top management.

  • Perform statistical analysis and data analysis.


Competencies Required


  • Minimum Business Degree / Diploma

  • Quality Auditing Certification.

  • Thorough understanding of ISO Standards and Requirements.

  • Self-starter, able to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • At least 5 years quality management experience.

  • Demonstrated continuous improvement.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion and prioritise appropriately.

  • Knowledge of legislated safety and environmental requirements.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Great ideas and who can think out of the box.

  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work cross functionally with minimal supervision.

  • High level of integrity.

  • Good knowledge of IT systems and software. Proficient in word and excel.
