Vacancy Announcement: Sales and Distributions Supervisor Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking to hire a Sales and Distribution Supervisor for their organization on a two year renewable contract.
The Sales and Distributions Supervisor will specifically be responsible for the following:-
- Managing personnel and developing sales and sales support staff;
- Ensuring that there are no stock outs of products in outlets;
- Visiting all accounts at least once quarterly;
- Assisting in recruitment;
- Ensuring that all customers operate within their credit terms and limit;
- Performing sales activities on major accounts and negotiate sales price and discounts in consultation with the Executive Director;
- Reviewing progress of sales roles throughout the company;
- Accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams;
- Developing specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products;
- Providing quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity;
- Coordinating proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results;
- Formulating all sales policies, practices and procedures;
- Assisting sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers;
- Collaborating with the CEO and Executive Director to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines;
- Interpreting short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit;
- Reviewing expenses and recommends economies; and
- Holding regular meeting with sales staff.
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:-
- Minimum of a Diploma /Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- Minimum of 5 years experience;
- A passionate, self-confident individual that is professional and result driven;
- Posses a valid driver’s license;
- Must be willing to travel;
- Should have experience in the FMCG;
- Strong integrity and ability to work within a team;
- Able to work independently within set parameters;
- Good negotiation and customer relationship management skills;
- Good interpersonal skills both with internal and external relationships;
- Great oral and written communication skills;
- Good at planning and organizing to ensure priority task management; and
- It is a two year renewable contract.
