Job Description:
To help start and develop an Our client business in Kenya
• To develop and nurture relationships with current and prospective/potential clients
• To build an Our client and Orbis presence in Kenya
• To market Our client and Orbis products and funds and start generating flows to these products and funds
• To keep current with developments and trends in the Kenyan market; to draw insights from this information and
formulate opportunities.
• To maintain close working relationships with Our client’s teams across the continent ensuring that business is
conducted in a manner consistent with how Our client operates and leverage off experience derived in other areas
• To ensure the highest standard of service excellence and integrity
• To report on progress
Key Skills: A formal qualification (MBA, CFA, CA) which demonstrates good academic achievement
• Experience in the Kenyan asset management or financial services industry
• Drive, discipline and a pro-active, self-sufficient outlook
• An entrepreneurial outlook with a passion to build our business
• Good strategic and conceptual thinking ability
• Maturity to speak confidently and with respect to intermediaries and clients, many of whom may be senior
executives
• The highest standards of personal integrity
• Ability to work within the firm’s values, processes and rules
• Ability to travel often, and be away from home for periods of time
• At least 5 years experience, preferably around 8 yrs
• Between 30 and 40 years
• Looking for 2 BDM
• Need to have experience and networks within Asset Management industry in Kenya
• Their clients would be high net worth clients, institutional clients, eg. Pension funds, other asset managers
• MBA or doing an MBA currently.
