Field Sales Representative

Salary: KShs 50,000 – 60,000 plus commission Our client is a prestigious furniture manufacturing firm seeking to hire a field sales representative.
The main role for the position is to ensure clients are taken through the sales process in a timely fashion, receivables are collected on time and customers are satisfied by providing adequate service. Duties & Responsibilities
- Going to the field to source for business leads and closing business deals
- Meet with Sales Manager weekly to review and plan ahead
- Facilitate effective showroom presentation, display and pricing.
- Greet and welcome customers, dealing with enquiries as appropriate.
- Process sales, dealing with customers on an individual basis
- Liaise with workshop team for customer requests for renovations etc.
- Carry out general Risk Assessments as directed.
- Work on own initiative and as part of a team to ensure that the mission of Furniture Plus is understood and promoted at all times
- Maintain our high standards for customer care and service
- Going above & beyond Assist customers’ with product selection, purchase, and warranties
- Provide excellent follow-up and follow-through
- Ability to do multi-tasking to manage all the work related activities such as planning, directing, supervision, and co-ordination of various activities involved in the job of sales and marketing.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelors degree and/or Diploma in Business related field
- 2-4 years of sales experience. Candidates with experience in direct selling preferred
- Preferred candidates come from the furniture industry
- Proven track-record of meeting revenue/ collection targets
- Willing to travel extensively in East Africa sales territory
- Strong team player, able to work without supervision
- A go-getter, who can take initiative and work independently,
- Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to connect with people and obtain their trust and respect
- Age; 27- 35
