The Meru County Government wishes to recruit a competent and qualified person to fill the position of Deputy Secretary to the County Public Service Board.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duty is to provide the link between the board members and the secretariat and is accountable to the board for:
- Preparing and circulating minutes and agenda of the board meetings;
- Developing annual work plan for the board with the guidance of the chairperson;
- Conveying the decisions of the board;
- Ensuring effective communication between the secretariat and the board;
- Provide guidance and advise to the secretariat on matters of ethics and good governance;
- Any other duties assigned by the board from time to time.
Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Kenyan citizen;
- Be a holder of at least a first Degree from a University recognized in Kenya;
- Be a certified secretary of good professional standing;
- Working experience of not less than six years;
- Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
