As AADL, we are building a team to be based in Nairobi to develop and bring to market more power project opportunities with support from our London and Dar es Salaam offices. We are, therefore, seeking talented, motivated, skilled individual to fill the position of Project Manager -Analyst Job Purpose In this position, your primary responsibility will be evaluating and analysing business and investment opportunities in the East Africa Region. You will also identify and prepare upcoming projects for investment. In addition, you will observe and analyze developments in the region s energy sectors with a focus on identifying potential projects. Key Responsibilities Carryout detailed financial analysis of potential energy/power projects in the East Africa Region. Keep abreast with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the energy/power sector Develop and maintain contacts to gain market information. Research and analyze financial information necessary for use in making investment decisions. Recommend on energy projects for investment Requirements University degree with an emphasis in finance or maths A masters and/or CFA qualification would be an advantage A minimum of 5 years experience in a closely related role Advanced skills in building and manipulating complex financial models Experience in project finance related transactions and the power sector is highly preferred Excellent financial and analytical skills Exposure in project management is an added advantage as is work experience abroad Ability to work in a multi-cultural environments and build effective working relations How to apply: Send your application including a cover letter demonstrating why you are the best suited candidate for this role, a detailed CV highlighting relevant experience and especially your flagship projects, details of current and expected salary, a daytime phone contact, email address, and the names of three professional referees by Close of Business Friday 3rd October 2014
