Reputable Company Job Vacancy in Kenya : Territory Sales Executive

Salary: Ksh 30,000- 35,000 plus commission



Our client is a pioneer in the FMCG industry seeking to hire a Territory Sales Executive. The main role is to manage merchandisers and a sales territory.


Duties and responsibilities




  • Open new markets

  • Manage a continuously growing team of merchandisers currently at 9 people

  • Maintain a high energy merchandizing/ sales staff.

  • Achieve sales targets.

  • Train, motivate and coach the merchandizing team.

  • Understand the market, the customer and the competition.

  • Develop territory, market penetration and sales execution strategies

  • Direct sales focus to identify and uncover opportunities in the territory

  • Ensure each merchandiser is equipped to fulfill present and future needs

  • Foster an environment of open communication

  • Actively Travel within the territory

  • Promoting new products and any special deals

  • Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service

  • Recording orders and sending details to the sales office

  • Giving feedback on sales trends


Qualifications & Skills


  • Minimum of a Diploma in Sales & Marketing

  • At least 2 years FMCG Sales experience & supervisory roles

  • Outstanding communication skills and presence

  • Computer literate & excellent presentation skills

  • Hands on individual able to handle pressure
