Senior Oracle HRMS Techno – Functional Consultant Summary:

Our client is one of the leading service provider in this highly competitive and dynamic technology space delivering innovative technology applications in Eastern Africa and beyond.




This is in addition to consulting expertise in project management, application development, implementation and maintenance. Purpose of the job: Reporting to the Project Manager and Lead Techno Functional Consultant; the incumbent will execute enterprise projects in the private sector



Key responsibilities include:



  • Responsible for the full implementation of new Oracle HRMS modules and new system features according to application implementation methodology.

  • Support complete payroll cycle with pay processing and transfer to General Ledger.

  • Perform business analysis including business process analysis or business process reengineering.

  • Coordinate Oracle template library module setup, configuration and running.

  • Prepare and obtain user approval for functional specifications and ensure proper mapping process of the business requirements to the Oracle HR module.

  • Implement and test suggestions/recommendations by Oracle in test instance and test custom solutions.

  • Train non-technical staff (i.e. end and super users) and prepare the documentation and user guides for the implemented solution.

  • Prepare and submit weekly activity reports to the Project Manager and the Lead Techno functional consultant.

  • Coordinate the data conversion strategy and standard interfaces in Oracle HRMS sub-modules.

  • Work closely with the team and resolve both client and internal technical issues.

  • Develop prototype for clients.


Requirements


  • Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

  • Oracle HCM certification/ Oracle OCP certification is desirable.

  • At least 5 years minimum Oracle experience.

  • Proven complete live implementation / migration / support and rollout of Oracle EBS (HRMS).

  • Extensive experience in data conversion from legacy systems, Ms Excel to Oracle Applications.

  • Experience with business process modeling, engineering using the latest technologies and Tools.

  • Ability to conduct sessions for data gartering, business requirements gathering, blueprint and training session and pre-setup assessment.

  • Proven experience with the following Oracle HRMS sub modules; core HRMS, Oracle payroll and Oracle self service HR.

  • Oracle Workflow Builder, SQL Loader, Oracle Forms 10g & 11i,Oracle Reports 10g & 11i, Oracle Discoverer, XML Publisher, Oracle Application Framework (OAF)

  • Ability to create and customize oracle forms, reports, customize interface, PL/SQL.

  • Working Knowledge in Apps HRMS Technical – SQL, PL/SQL, Data Loader, Toad, Workflow, Web ADI, SQL Loader, API, forms and reports, PL/SQL Developer.

  • Show initiative and creativity in developing innovative work-around solutions or new processes.

  • Excellent Communication skills.
