We are now expanding our Talent Pool for Media Manager. This role facilitates the conversion of communication channels strategy (who to communicate with, how often to communicate and when to communicate) into implementation plan.
Key Responsibilities
Media Management:
- Ensure OTIF delivery of plans and schedules for approval and implementation
- Ensure OTIF mid & post campaign review of all active campaigns
Agencies Management:
- Ensure that selected agencies deliver on key KPIs.
IBC / BMP LEABERSHIP
- Ensure quality input into process at all CCM relevant stages
- Present finished post campaigns for uploading into global portal
- Share best practice with BB Team from time to time
External Relations:
- Attend functions
- Liaise with CCM Third Parties in line with unit heads’ brief
AUDIT
- Ensure Channel / any other specified agencies are audited in full yearly
DRIVING SAVINGS/ MANAGING COSTS
- Drive media costs down delivering deflation /controlling inflation
Driving Media Innovation
- Develop innovation on projects within the country.
Media Effectiveness
- Drive on time in full reporting within Kenya.
- Adhere to the correct reporting formats and templates used globally and regionally, and add insights and recommendations
Key Skills and Qualification
- Graduate in marketing, media and/or communications
- 4-5 years experience in media planning, media buying and/ or media sales, marketing communications.
- Numerical and analytical skills / basic math skills (decimal and percentages)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting. Anything that helps in the optimization process)
- PowerPoint skills
- Presentation and communication skills
